The five startups on the line-up

What makes this session worth an hour of your morning is the spread of sectors. These are not five variations on the same chatbot — each company is automating a different part of how Indonesian businesses actually run:

  • Algobash — AI-powered candidate assessment and recruitment automation
  • kataliz.ai — AI voice agents for sales, collections, and customer service
  • AISensum — AI teammates for retail, F&B, and entertainment operations
  • Indera Agri — AI and IoT for precision farming
  • myECO — energy management through AIoT

What Algobash will be presenting

Our pitch is about a problem most HR teams in Indonesia will recognise: applicant volume keeps climbing, hiring timelines keep shrinking, and the recruitment team does not grow to match. Screening by hand is where that pressure shows up first — and where quality quietly slips.

Algobash is an end-to-end assessment platform that handles the screening layer so recruiters can spend their time on the candidates who matter. That includes:

The point is not to remove recruiters from the process. It is to stop asking them to read two thousand CVs by hand before they are allowed to do the judgement work only a human can do.

Why the regional stage matters

Morning Pitch Asia connects Indonesian startups with Japanese corporates and investors — an audience that tends to ask hard questions about operational rigour rather than growth charts. We saw the value of that kind of room earlier this year at the Japan-ASEAN Startup Business Matching Fair 2026 in Bangkok.

It also lands in a year when Indonesian AI has been getting serious attention. Algobash was selected for Grab Ventures Velocity (GVV) Batch 9 under the theme “Grab For Indonesia: Building an AI-Powered Resilient Ecosystem” — and the sheer range of what that cohort builds has become a talking point in itself, down to an IDN Times reader poll asking which kind of AI solution people find most compelling. We shared our own answer in Business AI or People AI? Lessons from GVV Batch 9.
